Where this
work comes from
Centred Works was built on a simple but hard-won belief: that the most effective organisations are built from the centre out — starting with people who understand themselves.
My career has been shaped by a consistent thread: I am drawn to the places where people, structure, and performance intersect. I have spent over a decade working inside some of South Africa's most demanding professional environments — across client operations, shared services, learning and development, and organisational effectiveness. I have built teams, designed training, written the SOPs that actually get used, and sat in the rooms where real organisational challenges get worked through.
What I kept noticing — in every role, at every level — was that the technical work was rarely the hard part. The hard part was always the human part. Why capable people get stuck. Why smart teams underperform. Why well-designed systems don't land. Almost every time, the answer traced back to a gap in self-understanding — in individuals, in teams, and in the way organisations were built.
Centred Works exists to address that gap. I bring together deep behavioural insight, practical learning design, and real operational experience to help individuals, teams, and organisations develop with intention — not just effort. The work is grounded, structured, and built for application. It is not therapy, and it is not theory. It is development that starts with real understanding and builds from there.
I am a certified iEQ9 Integrative Enneagram Practitioner, and I bring that framework — alongside over a decade of financial services and L&D experience — into every engagement I take on.
